UNDER THE PINK MOON
Under the Pink Moon
The second in an emerging new series about the folkloric names ascribed to full moons throughout the year. Under the Pink Moon represents April, when the full moon shines down on the tender emerging foliage and flowers of spring. The center panels are direct solar dye prints of garlic mustard, Virginia creeper, and dock leaves, all very prevalent in the woodlands of Pennsylvania. The vintage hexagon blocks, pieced from feedsack cottons, are bordered with vivid silks.
