I am currently booking lectures/trunk shows and would welcome the opportunity to present my work to your group.

My standard lecture is Surface Design for Textiles:  An overview of my working methods and techniques. Cyanotypes, heliographic prints, digital prints, thermofax prints, needlefelting and collagraphy are explained and illustrated.

I began my quilting life as a traditional/contemporary quiltmaker, and still use many traditional construction techniques. Over time, I’ve built up a tool box of accessible techniques for putting imagery on fabric that help each quilt to tell a story. There’s something here for quilters of all experience levels and interests, from beginners to art quilters.

My presentation is also suitable for other textile groups, such as embroidery guilds, and groups with general art interests.

Cost is $350 for a one hour presentation, plus travel expense.

I bring a digital projector and a large selection of my work to share in a trunk show.  I require a microphone, projection screen, and tables for display.  If an overnight stay is involved, I request a quiet, private bedroom and bath in a smoke-free environment.
