I have resumed booking in-person lectures, and I am also available for Zoom/remote talks.
My standard lecture is “A Sense of Place”.
I began my quilting life as a traditional/contemporary quiltmaker, and still use many traditional construction techniques. Over time, I’ve built up a tool box of accessible techniques for putting imagery on fabric that help each quilt to tell a story. My focus is on close observations of my micro-environment, made over time. There’s something here for quilters of all experience levels and interests, from beginners to art quilters.
My presentation is also suitable for other textile groups, such as embroidery guilds, and groups with general art interests.
