Tropical Depression
I made wet process cyanotype/solar dye prints of Virginia creeper gathered from the edges of my yard, and used them to represent the hot, humid summer weather that often leads to heavy downpours and thunderstorms.
Materials: artist-painted and commercial cotton and silk fabric
Techniques: wet process cyanotype prints on cotton, patchwork, stitching
