BAMBOO EMERGING

 

Bamboo Emerging
Shoots from my neighbor’s stand of Arundinaria gigantean bamboo emerge with great ferocity and persistence each spring, and require some effort and vigilance to thwart. I pause to admire its beauty, coloration, and delicacy of line while hacking it back.
