About the Artist:

I am a fiber artist who draws inspiration from my surroundings in beautiful Lancaster County, PA. My goal is to make art that is both beautiful and that helps to raise awareness about how fragile the natural world is, and how deserving of our respect.

My current work focuses on landscape images and botanical subjects, using plants from my organic garden and from the fringes of cultivation. I employ surface design techniques that include cyanotype, heliographic prints, and image transfer as the basis for works that also incorporate unusual and hand-painted fabrics, hand and machine stitching, and beadwork.

This award winning work has been juried into numerous national and international exhibits.  I have been featured in an episode of “Simply Quilts”, shown on HGTV, and in Quilter’s Newsletter Magazine.
